150DE Equipment Combo Question

Alright,

I currently run a 120 tall (60x18x26). I was planning on running it mixed reef but recently set up a 4ft 120 to be a mixed reef tank.

I have 2x250 Ushios in lumenbright reflectors over the 5ft 120. I am going to be moving these to the 4ft 120. To replace the light s on the 5ft ( which will be strictkly softies, more or less just colts and toadies) I was going to go dual 150de in Hamilton cayman sun reflectors with 2x54w t5ho.

Finally heres my question, I need to get a 150w balllast. Would you all reccommend a electronic ballast or something like a blue wave 7 HQI ballast for the 150 pendants?

Also I see alot of electronic ballasts that say they are 150/175w ballasts. I already have a pair of the new icecap blue body 175w electric ballasts. I know this has prob been asked 10000 times before and may make me look like a idiot, but...... can you run a de 150 off a 175 electric ballast?
