auto top off with ro/di
I'd like to T off the output of my ro/di unit and run it two floors up to my tank for an auto top off. Would a standard ro/di unit be able to pump the water up that high? Anyone doing something similar? I was thinking about running the line through the heating vents. Not sure if that's a bad idea or not.

I have mine T'd off in my basement 1 line feeds a storage drum the other feeds my display tank up stairs the only thing I have noticed is that when I'm filling my storage drum all the water go's to the drum and nothing go's up to the tank.
the other thing i had to do was increse my water pressure to 70 pri (having a well made that easy) you may need to get a booster pump keep in mind I'm not using any pumps in my RODI ATO system other then my well pump |
