Auto top off question

I am thinking about buying an auto topoff from autotopoff.com. Is it necessary to get the low voltage upgrade? I will be using an aqualifter pump.

I just setup my ATO from autotopoff.com

Seems to be working great though I didn't purchase this low voltage upgrade you're talking about...can't seem to find it on their site either.

I'm using the FT-300 pump but turned it down.
