Source for CLEARN 1/4" vinyl netting for covers??

I see the online pond netting which is black but if I am going to order from online I would rather find that clear stuff that some folks are using. Anyone know of a course for that clear netting that has 1/4" holes? Lowes and HD have bird netting but it is a pain to work with, the holes are too big, and it looks like junk when you try to fold it over to make the holes smaller. I'd rather just do it right from the start.

That's a very elusive animal.

I have seen some cast nets made from 1/4" monofilament mesh. I thought about buying one and cannibalizing it for the mesh.

Expensive, but I've never found that type of mesh anywhere else, other than in like 1000' rolls.

Yeah, after some additional internet searching a came across a guy on another reef forum who purchased a 1000' roll of this stuff and was selling it to everyone who was interested. I looked all over the place online...mainly coming up with something close through koi pond supply websites but I couldn't find anything that was exactly what I had seen some folks using.

With the number of folks who have been trying to find a material to use for covers over their tanks, and the difficulty in finding something that will minimize light loss, I am surprised this material is not more readily available for aquarists.

This is the material I use: Pond Netting

It is black instead of clear, but I've used my Apogee PAR meter to test the light, with and without the netting. Logic says there has to be a difference - but the meter couldn't measure it.

It's available by the foot.

This is what I used, and I know some others that also used it.
