how dose a mushroom coral multiply?

how do mushroom corals grow if they are not atached to each other?

i know some of them split at the mouth and create "heads" kinda like acans when you start to feed they tend to multiply more heads quicker from my experience i just noticed some of my ric mushrooms have

my mushrooms move very little but leave a bit of the foot when they move than it turns into a mushroom.

yes, mine too. They seem to move slightly over leaving a small "foot trail" that turns into new shrooms.
