RO/DI filters
When it comes time to change out the filters in my RO/DI unit, do I need to stick with the specific brand, or can I just use anything? What I mean is, for example, if I have a coralife unit, and I switch the actual filters to Kent brand, or something else?

No, you do not have to stick with a specific brand. Most replacement filters are standard. micron size can vary so be careful with what you are getting. The are a number of RC sponsers that carry a very good line of replacements. I personally go with BRS.
