Controlling water level with Apex?
I'm just about to pull the trigger and buy an Apex controller... My question is, does it come with the necessary water level float switches to use for water level control or are those purchased separately? I've looked at several vendor's sites and I've not seen a separately purchased float switch or whatever adapts to the Apex digital inputs for water level control, and the descriptions I've read don't mention that water level control is included. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!!

You need either a breakout box(~$40), or you cna make one yourself pretty easily. You can also just use an adapter that will plug into the socket, and use the bare wires- the corresponding numbers are in the manual for which wire pins will do what. This will plug into the Apex. You can then use any generic float switch fromplaces such as autotopoff or aquahub.

Ok, sounds easy enough... I currently have a JBJ ATO... Would it be wise to integrate this unit since I already have it or sell it and use solely the Apex with wired in float switches?
