They are good things. How long has you're tank been set up? these bugs are copepods and they come from the live rock and your refugium if you have one set up. Everybody (including the corals) in your tank will appreciate these bugs.

Like steelhead said, they live in the rocks, sand, and even in the water column itself. It usually takes a month or two after setting up a tank to start seeing them in earnest, but it can also happen really quickly if you seed the tank with rock from an established one.

There are all different kinds, and they eat all different things. A lot of them eat phytoplankton, which is tiny algae-like creatures in the water. Others eat detritus, like fish poop and food that falls to the bottom. And some others just eat other pods.

They're very beneficial for your tank as they will be food for some of your fish, corals and they will help keep the tank clean and well-balanced.

But definitely be happy about them. Some people try everything and can't get them to thrive. You got them without even trying.
