For sharing

This is my 300g tank which has been running for about 2 years. Sorry for the poor photographs.

Very nice tank. Love the coral colonies you have and the angel collection. How bad is the nipping with the angels on your corals? Keep up the good work.

Believe it or not, the angels never nip at the coral....but I feel them well.

I made my own food for my fishes...comprising about 50% nori, 25% shrimp and 25% clam/oster/any shellfish available, blend them and freeze the mixture with ice cube mold....I feed 1 cube every day.

Not at all. And if you can buy the ingredients regularly it is actually very cheap and easy to make. Keep the "cubes" frozen and it can be kept almost indefinitely. The only problem is my wife complaining that the fridge has more fish food that human food.....

I am a lousy photographer to be honest....can never take a good photo of my tank....sigh

Another problem is that my tank water is never crystal clear like some experts here. I always have some suspend particulars drifting around and in the photos they look smoky. Look at the fish pics and you should know what I mean.

I am lazy.....I only feed and clean panel everyday. Weekly water test and rectify Ca/KH/Mg if necessary. 25% Water change monthly (but I skip often if the tank look OK).

I do have an auto top-up w/Kalk, and a Calcium reactor.

Sump and Skimmer only, and my "sump" is more like a sediment settling area....it is mostly empty and I would "vacuum" everything out during water change.

Very nice you should be proud of what you have accomplished. What are the dimensions of the tank? It loooks to be very deep.

Thank you for your compliment. The dimensions of the tank are 84"x42"x24", i.e. 42" deep. I made it deep at the very beginning, looks much better.
