Water movement

I have a 55 gallon tank was wondering how many Koralia 2's I should put in there or should I put Koralia 3's. Any advice on what should go in a 55 would be apreciated

It depends a bit on your livestock. In my 46g, I had a K1, K4 (yes, odd match, I know) and a closed loop that was probably pushing another 1200+ gph. So, on the low end I'd say 2 K2s, but 2 K3s would be much better.

if its reef go with the two k3's if just fowlr you can go with the two k2's.

I have two K3's in my 75 gallon. it seems to just push my fish around they hate it. i cant find a good spot for them. my sand also has algae growing on it that i think would help get rid of if i could find a better spot to put my K3. any ideas?



this picture i only have one in the tank but right now they are both on the same side and height facing the same direction if that makes sense.

Sorry yes it is a mixed reef and thank you for the response another ????? I know it probably depends on the way you have your rock but where should I place them on the same side on opposite sides both in the middle facing out, facing up? Looking for anything

I put my Korlina 4 in the middle of the right side middle way down and facing up. I have no dead spots.

I put mine on opposite sides trying to crash into one another but removed the concentrator cones. I run a K2 and a K4 in my 30 long mixed reef. I will say K4 is the same exterior size as a K3 for more flow.
