Is this how a external magnet pump should sound? (vid)

Hey guys, still working on my first build, and I'm struggling to figure out if this panworld pump is faulty or not. I haven't been around many tanks or pumps, so I have no idea if this is normal or not. If it is, sheesh. Three rooms away this can be heard and it's annoying.

Is this normal? Thanks so much for helping me out. My girlfriend is gonna hit that pump with a sledgehammer soon! Just click the link.

I would send that back as soon as possible. Almost sounds like it has a bad bearing which could be bad on your house if it seizes.

Well, it is used and came with the system...is it worth taking apart and checking it? I hate to start over or get a new pump, all my piping was set up for this panworld =/

I myself enjoy taking stuff apart and makeing it work right, if you have the ability to do so go for it, it might be rewarding. P.S. not being rude or a smart a**.
