Refugium

im in the process of collecting equipment for 2 8'x4'x1' tanks and want to know when i biuld a sump how big should the Refugium be?

i was thinking a sup 6' long 2' wide and 18" tall with a Refugium 32" then a return 13" and the skimmer section 24" would that be correct or should i go bigger with the Refugim?

I say the bigger the better. water volume = stabability....jmo

go as big as you can get away with... but take into consideration water volume cuz of future water changes and the amount of RODI water youll have to buy or make, and salt to buy... make sure its in your budget... but volume does help stability for sure

ya makeing rodi water is no problem i have a 300 gallon per day unit and salt the more you buy the cheaper it gets.

just woudering if its correctly sized currently i dont run a refugium so thats why im asking.
