have you tried feeding it? The would like something meaty. (silversides, krill etc..)

I can't even really tell what type of anemone it is from that picture. Is that how it always looks? Looks very closed up to me...

what kind of light are you running Power compacts? it seems pretty blue as well.

what are the water parms alk/kh, ph, cal, nitrates, ammonia

i am using 4x39w Retrofit Light, pic taken when ATI True Actinic and ATI Purple Actinic are on

Feed it several times per week. Since its rather small I would start with smallish foods. PE Mysis, silversides, or kryll chopped a bit. Supermarket stuff works as well, things like frozen fresh clams, or even fresh fish. Just make sure its unprepared stuff and watch out for any preservatives. I've found some anemone's to be a bit finicky so you may need to experiment a bit.

Not all bubble tips grow all that fast.

Mine will eat cyclop-eeze and mysis very well, seems to be very good for its growth.
