AquaticLife T5HO 24" vs 30"

I was going to purchase one of these fixtures for my 29 gallon tank but before doing so i was wondering if someone can give me some input on the 24" and 30" fixtures.

1) is there any difference between the two besides 6 inches?

2) both of these take 4 24watt bulbs but is the 30" version have them spaced evenly?

3) can anyone suggest any nice bulb combination's for lps and soft corals in the 14-20k range? i was thinking of the following
-ATI Blue+
-KZ Fiji Purple
-ATI Blue+
-UVL Super Actinic

Thanks, Peter
