Hey Eric you found my thread again. lol
I gave the tank a good scrubbing with vinegar and it came out pretty clean. Glad to hear you got that 180 into the basement. I can just imagine how much heavier that was than the 135. I would have been happy to help you, but my back is glad you found someone else. You and anyone else near the area are more than welcome to come over when I finish the build.

Picture updates comming soon.
I have been working a little on the basement. Most of it is mudding the sheetrock and sanding over and over and over again, so nothing exciting has been happening. I am at the point of getting ready to paint the inside of the fish room soon though. I also got engaged to my lovely, forgiving and patient girlfriend last Friday. Quick funny dumb dumb moment though I can share. I was sanding the sheetrock and using a shop vac to suck up the dust which seemed to be working good......until the filter in the shop vac clogged up. I didn't notice the cloud of dust forming behind me and being blown by the shop vac. I coated everything in the whole basement and first floor in a layer of drywall dust. Some of it even made it up to the 2nd floor. I spent the 2nd half of my day dusting, sweeping and steam mopping my WHOLE condo, so I was sore as heck.

LMAO.
I am very fortunate to have a partner who is just as much into having the tank as I am. Well......almost. lol The only time I get the one-eyed stare of doom is when she finds out how much I pay for some of this stuff. Thank you.

Comming out of hibernation from a winter of very little work and incomming money, I have pulled my thread out from the grave. Oh, I started working on the tank again too. lol
I got a new light today so I can get rid of the halides and get the electricity bill down some more. All my LPS in my 90g have died but my zoas are doing very well. I had a major back injury, so water changing has been a pain to do, so I slacked on them a little. Seemed to be just enough to kill all my frogspawn and torches. I think I am just gonna stay softies only from now on. I installed a new ceiling in the fish room, so now I am plumbing and an electrical circuit away from getting this baby running. I will take a new pic to post tomorrow.

Here is a pic of my new ceiling and my moved RO/DI barrel.
Here is a picture of the front of the tank with my new light. I plan on doing a little different from the normal and only lighting one side. I am going to concentrate all my LR and zoas on that side and the middle and leave the left viewing side a little darker and more baren to kinda get a gradient "deeper water" feel. Light on at the back of the tank. The light is a 36" T-5 TEK with 6 bulbs. I don't remember the bulb colors combo that are in offhand, but if anyone is really interested in knowing, I can write them down and let you know. The only thing I do know is they are all Giesemanns. Hopefully more work and pictures to come soon. I am currently working on the plumbing.
