Sand question
I added "live sand" about two weeks ago. It stayed clean with two hermit crabs, now I'm seeing green "blobs" in the sand and the shells are turning brown. This is only happening in the front of the tank. Any suggestions??

This is normal, sand can be a constant battle to try and keep it looking good. The trick is a nice CUC to keep it turned and clean. If your really serious about keeping it looking good, like into a diamond goby (and there are a few other sand sifters) and they will clean your sand perfectly. Only problem is they tend to stir it up a little to much and it gets annoying having particles floating through the water.

What are your water parameters? How much sand did you add? You added live sand to an existing system? Give us some more info.
