Adjustable particle size skimming

Is there a skimmer or an adjustment that allow you to skim only certain particles sizes out? (you can choose what size)

Skimmers remove dissolved organic compounds and no you cannot choose what to take out.

You can't remove anything beneficial with a skimmer if that is what you are getting at.

skimmers do remove trace elements but you cant pick what wish it was that easy

No they don't. Not in any sort of greater concentration then what was in the water they took out.

Your not going to start dropping calcium and alk when you install a skimmer.

Well I just want to feed my corals (when my tank is done ) so they get big. Don't care about traces, etc. Seems that filtering is a big deal but since I'm starting from scratch I thought I'd focus on the corals, not fish etc.
