cleaner shrimp and sea hare

Does the cleaner shrimp go after and clean the sea hare? Mine has been after the sea hare for about the last two hours or so.

Why would it do that? Doesn't bother him all the time, just a little and now not this morning either.

Is your sea hare still moving/alive? Are you sure it's a cleaner shrimp?

I've never seen my cleaner "go after" any fish or any part of my CUC, but I do see him cleaning several of my fish on a frequent basis.

It's unlikely the cleaner is really harassing the sea hare, but I'd watch them both carefully. When started sea hares emit a dye that can be toxic to other inhabitants for the tank. Should it die they often can nuke your tank if you don't discover them right away.

He is still going, and it was my cleaner shrimp. It was like the shrimp was trying to clean him on the move. Not home now, ill check later and have a update.

Mine did that the first day after adding my hare but left it alone after that.
