New glass tank with glass brace
I bought a 100 gallon tank that has the thick glass brace in the middle. Checking out my lighting options but don't want to waste money by putting a light over the center brace. What do other people do to work around the glass centerpiece issue?

My first tank had a thick glass brace. Light went through it just fine. Ran PC's at that time and kept a few easy sps with no problem under the brace.

Sounds like an Oceanic tank - you can light it - you just need to clean the under side of the glass every week or so.
