Second Chamber on Ca reactor to raise Ph?

What I was surprised to find is it appears not to be having any or little affect at all. Last night I got a container of the effluent to get a Ph reading on it. It read 7.01. The Ph controller from the first chamber of the Ca reactor was reading 6.9. Should I see a better uptick in Ph after it goes through the second chamber?

Does anyone have any ideas. Could it be the crushed coral (maybe a different media)?

I am posting this in the filtration thread as well. I'll leave it to the moderators to decide the proper place for it.

I would appreciate anyone's ideas.

Stephen
