Red Gracilaria

I just bought this from petco. their workers didn't know anything about the thing. now, i know my tangs would eat it. but i was thinking about putting it in my fuge.

does anyone know if it can benefit the tank? and the requirements?

thanks in advance.

LA has a caresheet for it here. I've had some in QT for the last 10 weeks. Pretty easy to care for, and as far as helping the tank it will clean the water a bit.
