What would it take to retrofit ?
An aquatic life 4 bulb t5ho system with icecap ballasts? would it be generally plug and play? I've had it apart and I've seen the ballasts and wiring etc. Molex connectors much like from a PC's power supply which I'm very familiar with. Would I need additional wiring along with the icecap ballast or just the ballast itself using the wiring in place? If I can just do the ballast that's a huge upgrade in wattage for a pretty decent price
thanks! |

It should be pretty much plug n play - you will probably have to either cut off the molex connectors or get more, but the upgrade willbe more than worth it. One of my 660's is almost 20 years old and working like the day it was new.

yes - they have a unique plug in the ballast and color coded wires - makes it very easy
