No foam from skimmer ?
I recently hooked up a skimmer to my tank that has been running for 6 weeks or so. The tank is a 150 which has 6 damsels in it and the skimmer is a nautilus TE. It took about 24 hours for the skimmer to start making foam but it was skimming really wet, so I emptied the cup and adjusted water level and now no foam again ? Any suggestions as to why the foam keeps disappearing ? One thought, the skimmer recommends a 600-900gph pump and I currently have a viaqua 3600 on it which is rated at 1057gph, could overdriving the skimmer be the problem ?
