Sump Drain Lines?

I'm plumbed to the sump, but whats the best method for the pvc that goes inside the filter socks, holes or slots. How far should the pipe go into the water?

I would go maybe 1" below the water level with your drains to reduce bubble, splashing, and gurgling noises.

The good thing is, you don't have to glue them so make a few of adjustable height that you can test with. Actually angle off the end at a 45 degree angle (like you were cutting flowers to put in water).

On a side note... Assuming you haven't already glued them, I'd replace the 90's with 2 45's or spaflex.
