Party is OVER !!!
Reminder, we're supposed to have the bigger brain
I noticed this guy on my Monti-Cap a month ago and took the Caddy Shack approach to catching him I lost that battle .... Did a REVIVE dip three times with longer durations and some stuff fell out, but this guy found a crevice that I could not get too...... Inspired by some RC browsing today, I said, "that's it, me or him" ... I got the thin wire out from my light hanging kit for prodding and the syringe with TIP from my MG test kit for high velocity squirting. Pulled the MONTI out of the tank into a big bowl of SW and went RAMBO on this guy..... Took some wrestling with all weapons at my disposal, then VICTORY ..... I now know why their called, Gorilla crabs.... This guy was about the size of a dime..... NOT going in the refugium, as I'm sure it would be back in my tank before long ..... "You can take my life, but you'll will never take my freedom"

Wonder if my LFS would have any use for him? He would probably wind up on the wrong end of the food chain, egads!

I had one of those in my tank a while back. Mine was much smaller though. I took the rock he was hiding in out and I saw him hiding in a crevice I couldn't reach. It looked like a nice place to stick a coral frag though. So I grabbed my super glue gel put the tip next to him and glued a nice zoa right over top of him. Haven't seen him since.
