New to the Hobby, What are these white dots?
Sorry for the lack of pictures (my camera is awful). But anyways, I have white dots that are the size of my sand, (special floor grade reef sand) on the back of my tank and on the filter intake. What are they, there isn't many, maybe about twenty?

They might be a type of hydroid or something. I'm not sure, I have them in my tank too. I'm guessing they are beneficial filter feeders.

yes, i cant "diagnose" what they are with out a picture, But im guessing hydroids too. Some people dont like them cause they can reproduce quickly. They dont do anything besides take a small amount of plankton from the water though.
