Best light for cheato
What is the best light and photoperiod to grow cheato in my refugium (half of my 55 gallon sump)?

Home Depot and sometimes Costco carry a Lights of America 65w compact flourescent spotlight for outdoors. It works really well as a sump/fuge light although you do have to wire it yourself.

Clip on light from HD as well as a 23w spiral cfl 5000k for $10. Run your photo period opposite of the DT for 12hours on
and 12hours off. |

I saw another thread on this it was talking about some type of constant low to medium flow is optimal. Photoperiod was more or less like 12 hours from what i read but lots of folks were saying 12-14hours. I am about to add the live copepods to the chaetomorphia tomorrow hope it all works out bought like 5 bottles of the little guys to harvest them in the fuge.
