brand new skimmer not turning on???

I just ordered the bubble magnus nac 3.5 and it got here today. i stick it in the sump, turn it on...nothing..i take it out plug it in...nothing

whats the deal?

have you checked to see that the impeller is installed correctly?

you should be able to disassemble the entire thing. Are you sure that you got the 110V version of the pump? Is this a brand new skimmer? Have you contacted BM?

It's brand new, I emailed the website I bought it from and BM. It's a brand new pump (PH-1100 AC 110-120 V/60Hz 28 W). I can't get the pump out because of the legs.

I was able to mess with the needle wheel and the pump turned on

Plug it in and turn it off a couple of times to make sure you will not have anymore problems.
