Is this a pest
ive has this stuff growing around the tank for a little and its just now getting noticeable is it a sponge or a pest of some sort? thanks and heres the pic its right above the crab

I have the same thing. I've been told it was a sponge. I have some that looks like that but most of mine is long and branchy..
