Window Screen OK in saltwater?

Of course I'm not talking about the metal screen, but the fiberglass screen. I was going to use it to keep the carbon pellets from coming out of a container while letting the water out.

I don't believe there is anything to rust in this stuff, but is it safe to use in saltwater? If not, I'll just have to some of the hobby store plastic canvas sheets. I just have a roll of the screen sitting around.

I have been using fiberglass window screening over the inlets on all three of the elbows on my display tank secured with rubber bands for about the last 7 months now with no problems.

Yes, back in the early 90's when the Jaubert (plenum) method was all the rage you were to cover a rasied eggrcate with fiberglass screen then put your sandbed on top of that creating a dead space under your sand bed.
I didn't work, but the fiberglass screen is fine to use.
