Canopy or Something for Light Glare
Hi All,
I have a 36" long 45gallon tank with Coralife compact florescent strip lights up top. They look like this:http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.co...9&pcatid=12109 Question: My wife is complaining about the glare or glow that shine from the bottom of the light before it hits the tank. I used to have a metal 36" art deco kind of rectangular thing I would lean up against the hood but soon realized that the salt water would rust the metal into my tank. Is there something specifically made to stop that glare or should I just continue looking for a rectangular plastic thingy to block the light? The only thing I see online is canopies like this:http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prod/237499/product.web But I'm pretty sure these Coralife lights are not compatible with those canopies. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks -Jeff

You could always just build a canopy and leave the backside open and have maybe a fan in back...
