Dual Bubble Blaster 3000 skimmer
Hi!
I have an older-style Octopus DDNW-250 Dual Recirc skimmer that uses two OTP-3000 pumps (14-20scfh each with the NW)... I recently got one of the new SRO skimmers with a Bubble Blaster pump and am very happy. So my question is, could I in theory replace the OTP-3000s with a pair of HY-3000S pumps? If anyone has a skimmer with the 3000 and could get me some dimensions that would be awesome!

I dont think it would work. The OTP and BB are not even in the same ballpark.
Itd be like putting two Hemi's in a VW Bug. Way to much power and youd be going no where fast. Just sit and spin.
