I have a 24g Aquapod & I would like to know what you would recommend as far as wavemaker powerhead combo?

An MP10 is roughly $175, if you buy a wavemaker box like a RedSea, that'll run you about $75 - $100, plus you have still by at least 2 powerheads. Unlike the MP10, the wavemaker boxes are on/off, where the MP10 will still have some type of continuous flow. I would spend the extra $ for the Vortech. I did the same thing you want to do. Buy cheap wavemaker, for me it was Reeffanattic wavemaker and 2 koralia 4's. In the end I still ended up buying 2 MP40s.

I run the Koralia Deluxe Wavemaker (4 ports) and I absolutely love all the pre set programs, the ability to make my own programs, and it was not even as much as 2 MP 40's (which was my second alternative).
