Octo 110 NW....Is it performing?
- I have an Octo 110 (The new version with needle wheel) on a 75G
I have the following fish: 2 Large Clowns (3") (Ocellaris) 1 Yellow Tans - 3" 1 Scooter Blenny - 2"(+-) I feed 1 cube a day (Alternate between Mysis and Brine) My skimmer pulls less than 1" of skim a week - I have worked with the LFS & the manufacture to try to see if it has an issue - to me it seems way too little, although the skim is thick, dark and stinks baad! I my tank is a 75G Bowfront. - The reason I think its not pulling enough is I have a lot of algae growing on the glass and back walls - I have 3 giant snails but they dont seem to make too much difference. I'm forever cleaning the glass (Every 2 days minimum) and its taking the fun out the tank.. I have a Corallife 125 that I could add/replace the Octo with. What do the experts think? |
