How to quiet down a fan in a Coralife Hood?
So I have a Coralife hood containing compact fluorescent bulbs which has one fan mounted in the hood. I decided to pop it out thinking I'd replace it with something quieter. When I removed it (while running) I found that the fan itself is quite quiet -- it's the vibrations it is making in the plastic hood that is causing its very loud humming noise.
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to dampen the vibrations? |

Some kind of non-flamable insulation... not foam-too permanent.
