Bowfront Aquarium
Found a great deal on a AGA 155 Bowfront Reef Ready Aquarium. Its 6 years old but they say its in great shape. Obviously I will have to see it for myself to make sure its in great shape but I was wondering if there are any issues with bowfront aquariums that I should be aware of. I think I remember reading somewhere that a lot of glass bowfront aquariums start to leak after a few years but I just cant remember. Anyone have any experience with them? Anything I should be checking out when I look at it?

i have a 46 gal. bow running for over 5 years with no issuesthe only downside to them is the distortion from the bow but otherwise they are good tanks.
the only things to worry about are craks IMO also if you can fill it up with a garden hose that would be good to check for leaks |

Yep I've had a 72 bowfront for about 6 years with no problems. The problem I had was fitting a sump in the stand I was only able to fit a 15 gallon under there and it was tight. but I loved the bow in the glass, after a couple days you don't even notice the bow.
