lighting on a 120

so upgrading to 120gal and have 2 x 150w MH left over from 55gal and going to add 2 x 110w VHO actinics, 4 x 54w T5's, in this order VHO, 2 T5's, MH, 2 T5's, VHO will this be enough light on an 11hr light cycle? What do you guys think? staggered on and off timers

What is the dimensions of you 120? If its no deeper then 24 inches, you should be fine with the 150's.

or you could go like this if you have good individual reflectors for the T5s:

Front of tank:
T5
T5
Overdriven T5
Overdriven T5
T5
T5
Back of tank

Be just under 400 watts of power, and plenty of light to grow just about anything - with quality reflectors and good cooling fans.

With your suggested lighting, you will be running 216w T5, 220w VHO, and 300w MH - a total of 736 watts. So running T5 only would be almost half the bill electricity wise, and you would have a lot of options with bulbs. (You would still have a lot of color options with your combo as well, but the power consumption is what I would consider).

saltwater : I want more par and color choice hence the xtra bulbs
flamron : the 150's I have already so trying not to increase light budget too much, and I luv the VHO actinic color and thought if I add a UVL red sun, Kz fiji purple, ATI blue plus, and Ge 6500K i would add lots of par and interesting colors to the coral.

That is a ton of light. How are you going to fit all of those lights over the tank?
