My bioload?

Please help me figure out if there's still place for that "one last fish" (Royal gramma)

1x One spot Foxface
1x Yellow tang
2x percula clowns
3x bartlett anthias
2x lyretail anthias
1x sixline
1x randall goby
1x ornate leopard wrasse

Tank is an SPS dominated reef, 120g 4'x2'x2', vodka dosing with SRO3000 skimmer.

Thanks for your input in advance

I definitely think there's room for a royal gramma, another fox face maybe not, but I don't see a gramma contributing much to the bio load at all.

I was told for everyone one gallon of water you can have 1 inch of fish. If you line them end to end that is.

I think you have a light load, but it's not a choice so I voted for medium

Whoever told you this, run as far away from them in the other direction as possible.

And keep logging into RC and reading.

I'm voting medium but I'm not sure you can use me as a good example as I'm waiting for the Tang police to get me any minute now ---I Have a big Desjardini Sailfin tang8in had him since he was 1.5", a Hippo tang, a Tomini tang, a mystery wrasse, a leopard wrasse, a purple longfin wrasse, 2 pajama cardinals, a green clown goby and a watchman goby and all have plenty of swimming room and are in great health and play well together. lol

By that logic I could have 4 different 12inch tangs and a 10 inch trigger in my 36" long 58g tank!

Ooooh or I could get one 58" long barracuda or something really cool! If I fold it in half I could fit it in the tank....

1" per gallon is just bad advice...

I voted heavy only because you and I have similar setups, and I was told by numerous people that my bioload was on the heavy side. I am running a 150g SPS dominated tank with an SWC Extreme 160 skimmer sitting in a 55g sump/fuge. (Not dosing vodka yet. Plan to start soon.)

Anyway, my fish load consists of:

1x 4.5in Emp. Angel
1x 3in Yellow Tang
1x 2.5in CB Angel
1x 3in Mel. Wrasse
1x 2in Niger Trigger
1x 1.5in Cin. Clown
1x 2in Black Cap Basselet
2x 1in Green Chromis
2x 1in PJ Cardinals

You do have a pretty big skimmer, and you are vodka dosing so IMO a Royal Gramma probably wouldn't raise your load too high. I'm sure other people will chime in on this one, but I believe if you keep up on your water changes, you should be good to go.

Actually the rule of thumb was 1 inch per 10 Gallons.

But that doesn't necessarily work either.....

lmfao!!! Sorry, theses two post made me laugh so hard, I damn near pee'd my pants!

I voted medium but if it's 1g per inch then that's a super duper light load.
