Lumin brights in this canopy
Thinking of getting this canopy and install two lumin bright minis in it and run 250w radiums mogul base will the bulbs be high enough off water Thanks. http://cgi.ebay.com/Sale-Aquarium-Ca...#ht_1474wt_694

i have read that they work better the higher they are off the water. you way hat to cut holes on the top and rest the on the top of the canopy

I have two Luminbrights with Radium 400s and it's great. I would get them and mount them on top of the canopy. Just cut two holes for the reflectors to sit on. Should be great!

The mini wide can be mounted lower than the regular mini. You may want to check them out.
If your tank is 24 inches, I would go with 250W. If 30, go with 400. |

it's all about what you want to grow. There are alot of good 250w bulbs out there but I decided to run 400w 20Ks and have the par of 250w 10k.
i have a 120 full of sps. |
