RODI Questions?

So just installed filterguys rodi 5 stage system. Is running right now. So the DI canister is only 1 inch full. Is this supposed to be full? If so, how do I fill it? The check valve is supposed to be fully closed right? If it is open, pressure drops and most all water goes to waste. Is there any adjustments I need to make. PSI running at 68. Is this ok?

68PSI is ideal! Yes, your DI should be full. Turn your RODI off and make sure to drain it. Unscrew the DI housing and simply put more resin in it. The DI is most likely in another canister so you will have to open that one and fill it. Some of them dont come like that, but i would suggest getting one if you dont already have one. They look like this:

So when you are not using the system...do you leave the water in canisters and do you turn off the water from the main needle piercing valve, or just simply turn the valve off from the output valve?

Do you mean only an inch full of DI resin or water. Because mine is full of resin and about an inch of water is visable inside the chamber.

I know exactly what your talking about and I have a RO/DI from the filter guys for 3+ years now.

Check to make sure the "Arrow" on the filter in the DI is pointing "UP". I made this mistake before and I had the same problem as you.
