Got lights? I do not..

Thats why im asking here.. I am eyeballing the 8x54 432 watts nova extreme right now but looking for the best prices at the moment $459 sound right? Any other decent 8x54's out there? I want it even though i only have a 70 gallon tank im going to be starting very slowly with the tank but eventually will have full sps and inverts and i expect i will have a heavy heavy bioload but i bought a skimmer that supports 300+ gal we will see.. Also i dont want to have to upgrade lights if i upgrade to larger tank if i keep the depth around 18" 48" long.

I also need several heaters meaning that damn petco sale.. kidding well i do know 1 thing i at least want 2 on main tank sump in case of failure.. total tank and sump vol if sump is brimmed would be 110g. but most likely 100g
you think 2x200 wt too much? also need a good place to buy online ill check ebay but i need brand names you all trust. As the same with the lighting. ill need to heat couple of breeders and a 10g qt tank as well i read a 50wt is good in those.

I have read and read on here about a refugeum(sp?) and deep sand beds.. and all the debates how good they work.. all i know in biochem class in college if you have one thing outa balance its all outta balance.. so this next idea im going to run by you all might sound crazy..

Ok im going to run a heavy bio load evenually.. ok gawd better get the flame retardant shorts on for this.. im going to use a combination wet/dry trickle with about 1-2 1/2 gal bio balls this will produce nitrates, ammonia, phosphates like crazy.. but take care of the load of the tank but not so good for the corals inverts.. so im dedicaing my refugim with 1/2" to 1" agronite subtrate i dont care what they say dead is dead and if the tank pumps fails and shuts down to no flow well your fuge? is going to go toxic im sorry. my plan is to add these Tang Heaven Red (Gracilaria parvispora), Tang Heaven Green (Ulva sp.), Tang Heaven Gold (Sargassum sp.), Feathery Caulerpa (C. sertularioides, 2 types - Long and Short) and Tang Heaven Yellow (Gracilaria sp.). i got the names off indo-pacific website.. And with a light over them let them just grow by floating in there it will be wierd how i set up the sump though.
enough about that..

Can anyone tell me a place to get some good tank ready dry rock?

Wow sounds like a project but one I would enjoy. First of all a DSB with only an inch or so of sand won't work it isn't deep enough. You need to create an anerobic atmosphere-no oxygen for the nitrifiing bacteria that consume nitrates to live. At least 6 inches IMO would be better. Using macro algae to remove nitrates and phosphates is a time tested program that does work but you need to harvest-cut and remove portions of the plants on a regular basis as the cells reach a saturation point and can no longer consume those elements. If you will house herbivore fish species such as tangs you can feed that to them. A skimmer that is designed to work on a tank of 300 gallons but on a 70gl tank is a bit of overkill as you couldn't house enough fish in a 70 to need that assuming you are taking their needs into consideration. As far as where to get bulbs there are numerous online company's which sell them. I would google the type you want and see who has the best price.
