Reactor or nylons for activated carbon?

Would something like this be the way to go? Reactor from BRS.

http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/...-reactor.html#

Or would a nylon work just fine? I bought the BRS ROX 0.8 carbon. The carbon is too fine for any media bag I've found.
