In tank wave

I understand that a wave can put some additional stress on the seams of a tank.
I have a Oceanic Tech 120, 48 x 24 x 24. 1/2" glass, eurobraced.
Is there any concern with a wave in this tank?
I have 2 MP40's and I have about a 1" wave going in nutrient export mode. I really like the look of the wave and I feel it's got to be good for inhabitants, but I'd rather not do any damage to the tank.

Your tank will be fine if it is eurobraced. I would be more worried about your stand collapsing does it have bracing on it?

It is the oceanic stand, constructed from plywood. I added some additional 2 x 4 supports in the corners just for piece of mind when I set the tank up. I really don't see the wave motion putting any significant additional stress on the stand.

I've ran a ridiculous wave in a 75 gal for a while with no issues to see what I could do. No problems, but it is braced. I don't think I would run it all the time. No issues yet. Imho, I don't think a 1 inch wave will do anything, but I am no expert....

Anybody else? The mode I have the pumps running in does not keep the wave going all the time. Probably 2/3 of the time during the day only there is a pretty good wave action going in the tank.
