Small Skimmer Leak. Damage to stand?
My skimmer was leaking a little bit today, apparently the chemi-pure i have in the exit chamber of my skimmer caused the water level to be close to the top, so it was dripping a little bit.
My concern is the damage to the stand. It wasn't a whole lot of water that leaked, I would say maybe like 6 cups at the most. Just an estimate and judging by the water level in the tank. A lot of it was picked up with a towel, but a good amount was in the wood of the bottom part of the stand and underneath the stand. I dried a good amount with a hair dryer, which worked well. What should I do about the water that is under the stand? I can't say how much there is but there is a little. I am afraid the stand would get warped and damage but since its not a lot of water, how concerned should I be? Im using paper to stick under the stand to draw some of the water out, its working a little. |

Just dry what you can and it should be fine run a fan on it just incase to keep it as dry as possible,
