question on E39/E40 mogul socket
Tried searching but couldn't find anything definitive. I bought a used tank that came with a pair of Hamilton 400 Watt electronic remote box. The sockets are a mogul type. The old bulbs had E40 printed on them. My question is can I put a mogul type bulb that is E39 in the socket and will it work? Sorry for such a noob question and tia for any help.
