cost effecitve flow and lighting options for a 180 non-sps

Looking to ease up my life a little, going to make my 180 (6x2x2) a softies, LPS, zoa tank.

I currently have 4x6100 tunzes that I would like to sell to raise some funds. I havent looked at equipment in a while- what is out there right now that would get the job done for corals such as euphillia, duncans candy canes, zoas, etc-- for cheap as possible? Maxi Mods? I dont like korallias, but havent tried since they first came out. I have a acjr- so I can use that for some wavemaking, but dont see that as a big issue.

Next- I have 2x250DE MH and 8x48" T5. The T5 are mounted about 12" above the tank. Will they be enough if I ditch the MH?

If you are looking budget probably some koralias and ditch the halides. I think that would be sufficient.

I have a 215g 72x24x29" so basicaly 5" taller then your 180g

1 korillia mag7 does plenty of flow for the whole tank, I have another on the opposite side that comes on with my MH lighting and I have enough flow for a few SPS as well. its almost to much for LPS, i kind of wish I got 2 mag 6's.

as far as lighting you may want to ditch the T5's and get 1 more 250w. 180's have 3 bays to fill, this would give you the ability to upgrade corals.

for LPS and softies you can do the T5's by staggering 4 on each side, you dont need to go to the end of the tank. you could have 1' on each end of free space and the whole tank would still be lit up very well giving you 8 rows in the center.
