What is starphire glass?

I know this is a bone-head neophyte question, but I don't know what t is. I'm shopping for a new tank and I've come across this on glass-cages as an option

Glass with a very low iron content that results in very clear glass without the greenish tinge of regular glass. Some people believe it is as clear as acrylic. Worth checking out, although a little more expensive. Probably not worth it for smaller tanks.

It is a low iron glass that has much better visual clarity than standard glass. Some say it rivals that of acrylic. If you're dealing with a smallish tank with reasonably thin panes then its not really worth the expense in my opinion. On the otherhand if this is going to be a large tank intended to keep for a very long time with relatively thick panes of glass then it would certainly be worth considering.
