Protein Skimmer and bubbles

Ive been out of the hobby for a bit so just need a refresher. I have a bak-pak skimmer and just cleaned it real well and put it on my tank...Is it normal to have a million bubble coming out of the output after a good cleaning? I guess my real question is should this subside in a few days? Thanks!

I have never had that skimmer but it putting tons of bubbls into the display is not normal

hmm anyone have this skimmer with a maxijet1200 on it that can help?
