My Rock Has Something Yellow

Im wondering should i be worryed that this is growing on my rock its kinda yellow and it has bit of a redish yellow on it. here is a pic to show you

looks like some very sickly palythoas all closed up and limp. keep them in the light and they should be fine

no thats also rock i have no corals at all just rock

It could be a hitchhiker and still be a palythoas. Sometimes you get the good hitchhikers. I've gotten three different polyps that way.

well the thing is my rock was all dryed and these were really really white and now it has some yellow and red stuff on it i have no live rock either just base rock as you would say

I'd probably say diatoms - is it soft and can you blow it away?. While you can get coraline from the tiniest fragment or water transplant, if all you have is rocks + sand + water, I doubt it.
