Ati pm question

I am looking at buying this fixture but I am unable to hang it from the ceiling or create any kind of brackets that would mount it to the wall. I need to mount this directly to the tank and was wondering if anyone knows if they sell or have a diy idea on mounting legs?

(A)Why not buy some conduit and bend it it to your desird height and angle and hang the kit from the stand in back of the tank. You can easily paint conduit to match you setup!!! Another option with this qwould be too find the proper angles, which I think you can, paint some plastic conduit to match your set up.

(B)Also, just look around for some nice "arm" brackets that you can mount to the wall a few feet above the tank and modify them to hold the hanging kit.

Either option is going to work well but option B will look better imo

why not make a steel frame to hang it, i have one on my 6ft tank, it sits on the sides of the tank and has one bar 2ft high above the entire length of the tank to mount any lights too.

My tank sits inside a corner wall unit that has cabinets hanging above it. So I cant really mount anything to walls and my wife doesnt want to see any wires other wise i would hang it from the cabinets that are above the tank. I really like this fixture but looks like I will have to look for something else. leaning towards icecap now.

That started life as a 2" X 10" piece of Birch.
A few passes through a planer & a bit of decorative routing.
